As per the UAE residency law all non-national students must obtain a Student Visa for the duration of their studies.
Al Dar University College welcomes students from around the world to join our academic programs and short courses. ADUC visa sponsorship is only provided for the students who enroll on a full time basis.
Student visas are issued for the duration of 12 months at a time. Therefore, undergraduate students may require to renew their student visa 2 to 3 times during the course of study at Al Dar University College.
Under a new decree issued as part of the UAE Labour Law, students on university sponsorship can now legally work part-time upon receiving a permit from the Ministry of Labour.
The Student visa application procedure might take up to 21 working days including security clearance required by the UAE government authorities. You are kindly advised to apply in advance to avoid any delays.
Once visa is issued, it will be emailed to the applicant. Original visa will be deposited for collection at the airport of arrival. We kindly request to send copy of airline ticket via email at least two days before arrival.

As per the UAE immigration rules, all UAE residents are required to have a valid Emirates ID card. This will be applied together with your student visa application
- Issuance and renewal of ID card for residents (for each year of residence): AED 100
- Issuance of a replacement for damaged or lost card: AED 300
- Change of details that require issuing a new card (updated card expires on the same date as the old one): AED 150
As part of UAE visa laws, all students must be covered by health insurance for the duration of their student visa. Al Dar University College has partnered with an insurance company to provide a comprehensive and competitively priced medical insurance plan with a wide network of hospitals and clinics in the UAE.
ADUC provides free transportation services to students living in Dubai, Sharjah, or Ajman. Students will be picked up and dropped off at designated areas. Students should contact the Office of Student Services at the beginning of each semester.
Ample Parking lots are provided for faculty, staff, students and visitors with three dedicated basement floors.
